What is FindItNow?
FindItNow allows you to find the local business that your friends like, taking the guess-work out of selecting the best one for you. Think of FindItNow as Yellow Pages meets Facebook.
FindItNow users rate and review local businesses: doctors, mechanics, restaurants, dentists, attorneys, plumbers and more.
TopHow does FindItNow work?
Visit FindItNow.com and type in a search term or select a category for what you are looking for.
A results page then appears with local businesses that fit your search.
Sort the local businesses by best rated to find business with high rating. Select “Coupons” to find only business offering discounts. Sort the businesses by distance from you to find those closest to you. Or try any combination of these or many other tools we provide to help you find the best business for you.
What makes FindItNow unique, though, is that you can use it to learn which businesses your friends like. Instead of making 10 phone calls and waiting for three of those people to return your call, FindItNow allows you to find out the local businesses that all 10 of your friends recommend immediately at the click of a mouse. What does “Top Results” mean?
“Top Results” is a sort that combines many factors to sort businesses in the search results. The factors in this algorithm combine conventional definitions of relevancy (word matches in the text of the Business page), with weighting for whether the business is a Premium, Enhanced or Basic tier customer (premium tier customers receive greater weighting than enhanced tier customers who receive greater weighting than Basic tier customers), distance of business to the end user, number of reviews, overall rating and other factors.

Any user visiting FindItNow can see your profile page or see your reviews.
How does FB Connect work?
Clicking on the “Connect with Facebook” will result in you getting a screen asking for your Facebook log-in credentials. If you have a Facebook account, this step will allow you to import your Facebook friends onto FindItNow. If you don’t have a Facebook account, then you must first register to Facebook. Inviting your Facebook friends to join FindItNow allows you see what your friends think of local businesses.
Why should I connect with Facebook?
Connecting with Facebook allows you to find out what your friends think of various local businesses before you make a choice. While knowing how your entire city rates a local business can be helpful, many of us most want recommendations from people we know. Stop waiting for your friends to return your call or answer your e-mail. You can find their reviews on FindItNow whenever you want them.
Can business owners message me after I review their business?
Business owners cannot message you personally, but they can post replies to your reviews.
What are “Sponsored Results”?
“Sponsored Results,” which appear at the top of search results, are up to three businesses that have paid to appear in that position (Premium tier) – businesses whose attributes fit the constraints of your search.
Will FindItNow remove a review?
FindItNow staff will remove a review if the review is profane or may violate libel. The FindItNow staff reserves the right to determine what is profane or potentially libelous. FindItNow will tend to let users and businesses speak their mind, but in certain cases, a review may be removed. You can help us with this by clicking the “Report abuse” button if you see content on the site that you think is inappropriate.
Does FindItNow allow businesses to remove negative reviews from their own business page?
No.
How do I change my email address on FindItNow?
Make certain you are logged in, then click “Settings” at the top of the page. You will be taken to a page where you should see an e-mail field. Type your new e-mail address into that field and click “Save” (at the bottom of the page).

Make certain you are logged in, then click “Settings” at the top of the page. You will be taken to a page where you should see fields for changing your password. Type in your new password and click “Save” (at the bottom of the page).
